Finding Common Ground On A Rooftop Terrace

On a rooftop terrace at the foot of the up-lit Acropolis, more than 5000 miles from home, we invited the young Albanian couple to sit with us.  Talk with us.  Drink with us.  Laugh with us.  A couple hours later, we parted as friends, warmed by the wine, by Athens' balmy night air, and by the reassurance of humanity's common ground.
